These have been my favorite harps for two years now. I discovered them at a
booth at the NAMM show here in LA. They were an East German manufacturer,
but were (are) very popular in the eastern bloc. Their availability to
Westerners were very limited. They have poor distribution here in the US,
but I mail order them through some distributor in Utah. A bit pricey
comparitively (for the Blackbird) but super-solid, well-built instruments.
You can also order replacement reeds, etc.. through the website
(http://weltmeisteronline.com/harm.shtml). They are worth trying for sure.
